Forever Broken Roses
Ballerina
I wish our hearts could beat as the synchronized movements of ballerinas.
Everything our heart tells us to do we accomplish together because we are partners.
We will build ourselves stronger and move lightly on our feet.
We will tip toe as if not to destroy the fragile heart.
We will dance the night away with our coexisting hearts!
Shadows
Shadows...
Are you my soul printed on these walls?
You steal my inner core
And paint it for everyone to see.
Do you mimic my motions
Or do you project the woman that I'm hiding within?
You know who I'm talking about.
Shadows...
How do you describe yourself?
The outline of my body?
Are You the enemy?
Do you leave the prints of me in secret places for others to find me
Are we playing hide and seek?
Shadows...
Where do you sleep when my body lays in the dark with no light waves
pressing against it and no surface to reflect onto?
Shadows...
Who are you?
Don't
Make Me
Love You
Please don't make me have this intense feeling of deep affection for you.
I am exhausted from the fumes my hand lets out as it writes yet another love poem,
Including this one.
I am not ambidextrous so don't tell me to use my left hand.
If you leave I'm stuck with these lines.
They are easy to be thrown away but love poems have a tendency of clinging to my memory
And locking itself in the chambers of my heart.
So please
DONT
MAKE
ME
LOVE YOU
